Remote Assessment
We do 99% of our estimates remotely. Respond to your confirmation email with pictures or a short video of the area.
Videos and pictures don't need to be elaborate - it's just so we can see:
- The exact area to be cleared
- Vegetation types and density
- Access points and fencing needs
- Any potential challenges or special considerations
After the remote assessment, we'll provide you with a detailed quote and timeline for your project.
Goats Arrive
On the scheduled day, our team will:
- Set up temporary, solar-powered electric fencing to contain the goats
- Bring in our herd of hungry goats
- Provide water and any necessary shelter for the goats
- Ensure the goats are comfortable and ready to work
Our goat handler will check on the goats regularly throughout the project to ensure their well-being and monitor their progress.
Job Complete
Once the vegetation has been cleared to your satisfaction:
- We'll remove the goats and all temporary fencing
- Conduct a final walk-through with you
- Provide recommendations for maintaining the cleared area
- Schedule any follow-up visits if needed

How long will the goats stay?

How often are the goats monitored?

What happens if it rains?
Goats can work in most weather conditions, including light rain. In cases of severe weather, we may provide temporary shelter or, if necessary, temporarily remove the goats until conditions improve. Weather considerations are factored into our project planning.
Will the goats completely eliminate all vegetation?
Goats typically remove foliage up to about 6 feet high and will eat most vegetation down to the stems. They don't typically uproot plants or remove stumps. For complete elimination of certain plants, follow-up treatments or multiple goat visits may be recommended.
